Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dealt another major blow as they were left off the invite list for King Charles' 75th birthday celebrations.

It's also believed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won't be reuniting with the Royal Family for Christmas amid growing tensions. Sources have suggested the family rift means "there is no such possibility" for Meghan and Harry to reunite with the firm and one expert believes it's down to their tell-all Netflix documentary.

In the show, titled Harry & Meghan, the couple made a number of bombshell accusations against The Firm. In the series, Harry detailed the breakdown of his relationship with his brother Prince William and claimed he left him terrified after he screamed and shouted at him during the Sandringham summit. Harry also alleged members of Kensington Palace had then "lied to protect my brother".

The Duke of Sussex also took aim at his dad and discussed the tense Megxit crisis meeting held with the Queen in January 2020. Following the release of their show, Harry published his debut memoir Spare.

In the book, Harry alleged that his stepmother Queen Camilla leaked stories to the press about William. He also said he and his brother begged their father not to marry her.

Harry then accused his brother of hitting the rum the night before his wedding to Kate Middleton and said his dad would make cruel jokes at his expense. Public relations expert Ryan McCormick said it should be no surprise for Harry and Meghan that they haven't been invited to the family events.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, the Co-Founder of Goldman McCormick Public Relations said: "If you try to make a name for yourself by severing the hand that raised you, don't be surprised when you don't receive Christmas invitations from them. In Harry's memoir 'Spare', he calls King Charles' second wife Camilla "dangerous."

"Charles may still be upset by it. Also, he and other members of the Royal Family may not want Harry and Meghan around for fear of being quoted in a future tell-all book."

There have been rumours circulating that Meghan is set to follow in her husband's footsteps and release her own memoir. Harry's book became "the fastest selling non-fiction book of all time" when it was released earlier this year.

PR to the stars Mayah Riaz told The Mirror that Meghan will likely focus on parts of her life away from the Royal Family. "I don't think it will be explosive in the way we may think it will be. Harry and Meghan have both said they are not going to be speaking about the Royal Family.

They feel they have said what they needed to in the Oprah interview and the Netflix docu-series. Meghan had a life and career before going into the Royal Family. If it is true she is writing a memoir, then it will include details about her early career and life. She may expose more about what she has faced in the industry as she was carving out her career in Hollywood. Some of this could be explosive," Mayah said
