The Princess of Wales looks unrecognisable in a brand new YouTube video that shows her and Prince William taking part in one of their secret hobbies.

The clip shows both William and Kate sporting wet suits, flippers, goggles and snorkels as they took part in a special diving experience, which is believed to have taken place last year during their tour of the Caribbean. During their tour, the couple visited the Coral Vita project in the Bahamas, which is a former winner of William's Earthshot Prize. The organisation aims to restore coral reefs by creating coral farms before planting them on the ocean bed.

In the new clip, William and Kate can be seen helping to plant the newly grown coral by diving down below the water's surface as well as exploring the wildlife on the ocean floor. In the clip, Kate wears her long, dark hair tied up in a ponytail and interestingly keeps on her priceless engagement ring, which once belonged to Princess Diana.

The video of the pair was released as William's latest Earthshot Prize awards, which took place in Singapore last week, was broadcast on BBC One. This year, the Prince of Wales attended the ceremony alone as Kate stayed at home to help their eldest son Prince George through his first set of major school exams.

Kensington Palace refused to comment on what exams future king George, 10, was taking. However, the preliminary entrance exams for Eton College, known as ISEBs, occurred at the same time as the Earthshot Prize during the first week of November. Several other elite private schools also use the exams.

However, it is not the first time that royal fans have been treated to footage of William and Kate indulging in one of their favourite hobbies. In March 2022, they released another video showing them taking a break from royal duties to go scuba diving with sharks in Belize during their Caribbean tour.

Video of the pair diving was posted to the couple's official Twitter account and came as they left Belize, which was the first stop on their trip last year. The silky footage was taken by celebrity photographer Matt Porteous, who was on the trip and paid for privately by the couple.

Speaking at the time, William said: "(It's) really fantastic to see the underwater environment here in Belize, and what wonderful work they’ve been doing to protect the coral and the fish life. Belize's work on marine protection is world-leading, which is crucial when you’re protecting the world’s second-largest barrier reef, and in fact, it’s a Unesco World Heritage site.

"And it’s clear to see the Belizeans value their environment, whether it’s the marine environment or the land environment. It's great to see that their commitments are going further and further, and we should support them and value their efforts to protect both the marine and the land environments."
