Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is said to have "sympathy" for her brother-in-law Prince Harry as he's "under pressure" from his wife Meghan Markle, it has been claimed.

As the sixth season of The Crown prepares to drop onto Netflix next week, the Prince and Princess of Wales are said to feel "violated" by the upcoming series that will delve into Princess Diana's death. The series is also said to touch on Kate and Wills' budding romance, which began when the pair were at university together.

But, amid the looming new season of Netflix's hit series The Crown, it has emerged that Prince William believes it to be "beyond the pale" for his brother to continue to work with Netflix as they cash in on the Royal Family and their private lives. But while Prince William is said to seem annoyed with his brother for continuing to work with the streaming platform, Kate Middleton – Prince Harry's sister-in-law – is said to feel some sympathy for him.

Speaking to Heat Magazine, an insider claimed that Kate believes Harry is under pressure from his wife, former Suits actress Meghan. "Kate is a little more sympathetic towards Harry – she tends to blame Meghan for most of what's gone wrong," the source told the outlet.

"She's convinced Harry was talked into this highly unfortunate deal with Netflix, because he's under so much pressure to keep up their lifestyle.

"She's angry with both of them, of course, but most of her ire is directed at Meghan - she just can't believe how she could do something like this, and then refuse to back down," the source went on to add, referring to the couple's partnership with Netflix.

This comes as Prince Harry and his wife Meghan continue to raise their two children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, in Montecito, California. The couple stepped down as senior working members of the Royal Family in 2020, and then moved across the pond a couple of months later to start new lives for themselves.
