Netflix has announced the pairings for its upcoming golf tournament featuring stars from the PGA Tour and Formula 1 drivers.
The streaming service will be hosting the Netflix Cup which will be taking place on November 14 at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. It will feature stars from both the golfing world and F1 teaming up for the tournament.
Netflix currently has two series centred around each respective sport. ‘Full Swing’ documents the behind-the-scenes action of the life of golfers on the PGA Tour, while ‘Drive to Survive’ is another docuseries, which features F1 drivers.

Now it has been confirmed that there will be four pairings for the inaugural Netflix Cup which takes place next week. There will be four PGA Tour players - each pairing up with a F1 driver.

Rickie Fowler has been paired up with Lando Norris of McLaren, while Justin Thomas will be playing alongside Carlos Sainz of Ferrari. Max Homa will be paired with Alex Albon of Williams, while Collin Morikawa will be teaming up with Pierre Gasley of Alpine.
The format for the tournament will see all four groups play eight holes. From there, the two groups with the lowest score will then meet to play one final hole, where the winner will become the Netflix Cup champions.
The tournament is due to begin at 3pm PT / 11pm GMT on Tuesday, and will mark a busy week of sport in Las Vegas. A few days later, the first F1 race will take place in the Nevada city.
Norris recently spoke about the excitement around the event while preparing for the Brazilian Grand Grix last week. Norris finished second in the race behind winner Max Verstappen and revealed that he would be paired alongside Fowler.
“Nope! I played yesterday here in Sao Paulo, but I'm feeling alright,” Norris told reporters on Nov. 2, via , when asked if his golf preparations have been going well.

So, I've kind of lost touch but I've tried to get back into it in the last few days, and I will continue to, before Vegas next week and before the event. So, I'm sure I’ll be alright – or at least get carried by my team-mate.
“I don't know if I'm allowed or not. But sure, Rickie Fowler,” Norris added when asked who he would be paired with for the Netflix Cup. “A good guy. I watched all of the guys and Rickie is kind of a bit more back on form lately, comparing to where he was at the beginning of the year and last couple of years.
“I’m excited. It's going to be the first live event for Netflix, which is a cool thing to be part of. Nice course and everything. And yeah, I don't know, like how the whole event is going to work but I'm sure it's going to be good, fun.”
