EuroMillions players have been urged to check their tickets as soon as possible - because a massive prize worth £220,000 has gone unclaimed for two whole weeks.

Anyone who entered the draw on Friday October 27 and did not have a look at the result has been asked to do so right away by the National Lottery, or risk potentially losing out on the life-changing sum.

‌The lucky ticket, which matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw, was bought in Northampton.

Winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 29, 33, 35, 48, 49, and the Lucky Star numbers were 3 and 8.

The lucky ticketholder has until 24 April 2024 to claim their prize. If you no longer have the ticket but believe you have a genuine claim, you can make it in writing to draw operators Camelot. But this must be within 30 days of the draw, meaning there is just under two weeks left.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery said, “If you bought a EuroMillions ticket in Northampton for the draw on 27 October, it’s time to look everywhere - in the pockets of clothes you might have been wearing at the time, bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces - and check your tickets.

“Do you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through? We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize - imagine the possibilities for them! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

England’s Lionesses were in action on the night of the draw, recording a 1-0 win over Belgium in their UEFA Women’s Nations League fixture. If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money plus generated interest will go to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. According to Camelot, National Lottery players generate £30M each week for National Lottery-funded projects. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email the draw help desk at [email protected].
