Strictly star says 'there's something there' between Ellie and Vito

Former Strictly Come Dancing star, Tyler West, has discussed Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola romance rumours on Friday's Lorraine.

During the latest episode, Tyler, 27, and guest host Christine Lampard discussed the latest Strictly news when chat got onto Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, after Amanda Abbington seemingly confirmed the duo were dating by calling them a "beautiful couple" on Instagram.

Tyler, who found love on Strictly last year with fellow contestant Molly Rainford, said: "There were rumours about their romance before, Amanda Abbington commented on their social media saying 'the most beautiful couple', which could just have been about the dance couple.

"But then Vito uploaded: 'I've just finished another beautiful day of training, well done to my baby Ellie Leach.' There's a lot of love going on from this Italian Stallion!"

Christine, 44, then commented: "I mean they dance like that, don't they? She's fantastic, she's my favourite to win it, she's been brilliant! You can tell there's a proper connection on the dance floor..." to which Tyler replied: "There is something there, there definitely is!" Christine added: "Good for them, why not? They're enjoying themselves!"

It comes as Amanda, 51, who quit the BBC Latin and ballroom show a few weeks back due to personal reasons, seemingly confirmed that Coronation Street star Ellie and her professional dance partner are a real life item.

After the pair went through at the weekend, Ellie posted a sweet photo of herself and Vito competing on the show and it was Amanda's comment in the post which has convinced fans the dancing duo are an item. Writing under the Instagram post, Amanda commented: "Stunning. So proud of the both of you. You are the most beautiful couple!," with the comment being liked by hundreds of people.

Elsewhere, Vito recently took to social media to share his sweet nickname for the former Coronation Street star. In a recent Instagram post, Vito captioned a photo: "Just finished another day of rehearsal. Well done to my baby Ellie Leach."

The sweet shout-out comes just a week after Vito addressed Ellie as "my Lulú" in a heartfelt message on his Instagram. "I am so proud of you and you know. How much I believe in you so just keep going and keep working hard as you are already doing every day," he said, before adding, "You are doing great baby."
