Friends actor Matthew Perry was reportedly living with his assistant in a Beverly Hills home prior to his death.

The star was found dead in his hot tub by emergency responders who came to the home after a report of a cardiac arrest. Upon finding Matthew, they performed a water rescue protocol. Now, his landlord claims that Matthew's personal assistant, Kenny Iwamasa, was "an individual living with Perry and monitoring him." A family member of Kenny's confirmed he was living with Matthew recently.

Kenny was directly employed as an executive assistant by Matthew's manager Doug Chapin. According to his LinkedIn his role technically was "Executive Assistant to personal manager responsibilities for 25 years (on-going) for client Matthew Perry ('Friends'; actor-writer-producer)."

According to the Daily Mail, Kenny was previously pictured running errands, driving Matthew around, and leaving the rental property. Kenny is believed by sources to be the individual who found his body and alerted the authorities. According to Kenny's LinkedIn, he has been working with Matthew for 25 years.

The rental Matthew lived in was a bedroom house with a view of both Beverly Hills and the ocean. The actor rented the house for $49,000 per month while his permanent home, a $6million Pacific Palisades house, was being renovated for over a year. A month prior to his death, he moved back into the Pacific Palisades home. Matthew was "incredibly happy" in his new home, even calling it "heaven," a source reportedly told PEOPLE.

In Matthew's final Instagram post, he posted a photo of himself in the hot tub overlooking the city lights. The caption read: "Oh, so warm water swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman."

His family confirmed his death with a statement: "We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love."
