Emmerdale fans 'rumble' reason for Chloe's collapse amid new Mack betrayal

Emmerdale fans think they have figured out a twist as Chloe Harris is rushed to hospital next week amid a new Mack Boyd betrayal.

Viewers will recall Chloe does remember everything from the dramatic car crash during super soap stunt week. Chloe, Mack and Charity Dingle were involved in a brutal car crash, where a van crashed into them at full speed out of nowhere. Mackenzie was able to escape the wreckage but realised his two lovers were trapped in the car, which was perilously perched on the side of a cliff. Mack had to pick from estranged ex-wife Charity or the mother to his son, Chloe.

Mackenzie picked Charity, which resulted in Chloe falling off the cliff and being airlifted to hospital. Chloe underwent serious brain surgery, where it was revealed she had been put in an induced coma and she could have longterm brain damage. However, Chloe was thankfully brought out of her coma and upon regaining consciousness admitted she could "remember nothing", leaving Mack relieved.

Yet this was soon revealed to be a lie and that Chloe remembers everything, with fans predicting she is quietly plotting her revenge. In upcoming scenes, exes Mack and Charity are finding the enforced distance between them heartbreaking. Later, Charity has a brainwave of she can escape the drama by a trip to Scotland to be with daughter Debbie Dingle.

However, Mackenzie is devastated when he hears of her plan to leave the village and he lays down in front of her car as he makes a desperate plea for Charity to stay in the village and not go to Scotland. After the huge gesture, the duo both confess their true love for each other. Mack then proposes they properly get back together and insists he will end things with Chloe once and for all.

The next day, Mack is overjoyed when Charity accepts and reunites with him. However, Mack soon realises this means he has to break Chloe's heart. Later, Mack decides to end things with Chloe but as he attempts to dump her, Chloe collapses unconscious in the kitchen. Meanwhile, a floored Charity watches on in disbelief as Mack accompanies Chloe to hospital in the back of an ambulance. This leaves Charity questioning if Mack dumped Chloe before she collapsed.

Soap watchers think Chloe might be faking her collapse in a bid to stop Mack from leaving her as part of a revenge storyline. One person said: "Well she now knows that the baby won't keep Mack leaving her so why not make him feel guilty and say she is ill to keep him. We all know Mack would not be with Chloe if it was not for the baby...." with other viewers agreeing with the theory.
