Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have attracted attention of their apparent use of a private jet in recent days, following similar criticism towards the pair last month.

The couple continue to be branded hypocrites over their use of private jets in some corners due to them having expressed concern about the climate in the past. There's been more criticism surrounding Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, recently.

There have been two instances in the last couple of weeks of the pair allegedly travelling onboard a private plane, prompting renewed attention over the situation. This has included them having reportedly used such a jet last week.

Prince Harry and Meghan are said to have used a private jet to travel from California to Nevada, and on the return journey, last week, according to the Sun. They headed to Las Vegas to attend Katy Perry's residency on Saturday.

According to the outlet, the couple travelled onboard a 2009 Gulfstream jet that belongs to one of their friends. It reports that that the private aircraft is co-owned by their pal Michael Herd, who is said to be an oil company heir.

Michael, along with his wife Whitney Wolfe, is said to have joined Prince Harry and Meghan on the trip for the concert. It's been reported that the group landed back in Santa Barbara on Sunday, following the concert in Las Vegas.

And just weeks ago, Prince Harry and Meghan reportedly travelled on another private jet. The pair are said to have travelled on a Falcon 7X plane from the US to Canouan for a vacation last month and reportedly used it for the return journey from the Caribbean island too. It's been suggested that the plane is owned by an unidentified friend of the pair.

Although the couple have reportedly travelled onboard jets owned by other people in recent months, it was previously suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan may have had their own plane. They were said to have used one for holidays.

According to the Daily Mail in 2019, they used a Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign plane for holidays. The aircraft in question was said to have been a 12-seater, reportedly with "spacious bathrooms" and "engines that minimise[d] noise".

Prince Harry and Meghan's apparent use of private jets has prompted criticism over the years, like them being met with claims of "hypocrisy" over the alleged instance last month. Such reaction comes following apparent efforts to address climate change amid concerns over the environment.

Their Archewell Foundation has pledged to be net zero by 2030, for example. Its announcement in 2021 suggested that the decision to cut its carbon emissions over the next few years was inspired by the pair's "long-standing commitment to the planet, both together and prior to their union".

Prince Harry has advocated for climate change to be addressed and has made various comments about the cause over the years. His apparent efforts have included launching the sustainable tourism brand Travalyst in 2019.

Discussing the issue, Prince Harry said that same year that he primarily flies commercial. He said: "I spend 99% of my life travelling the world by commercial." He however added: "Occasionally there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure that my family are safe."

And despite their apparent private jet usage, Prince Harry and Meghan - who have been married since 2018 - have reportedly been spotted on commercial flights in the past too. This included them allegedly travelling onboard a commercial plane to a wedding in Italy a few of years ago.
