Cadbury discontinued one of its popular Christmas products but shoppers have shared a dupe which will make those disappointed by the move very happy.
The chocolate giant confirmed the news in a post on X (formerly Twitter) earlier this year. The fan tweeted Cadbury asking for the snack to be brought back. However, Cadbury doubled down and said the snack had been discontinued but that it did have "lots of other chocolatey treats to try".
Launched in 2004 and discontinued in 2010, these Pringle-shaped chocolate thins came in a variety of flavours including orange, hazelnut and mint. The concave crisps were a favourite snack for many during the 00s and since its discontinuation petitions have been launched calling for the snack to come back.
However, shoppers should not be heartbroken as Brits have flagged a dupe that could fill the Cadbury's Snaps void in their hearts. Costco is currently stocking its own dupe of the beloved chocolate product called Belgian Chocolate Thins. Priced at £8.49 for four 125g packets, the Snap-style chocolates come in the flavour of caramel and sea salt and have a rating of five stars from Costco customers.
On the Costco website, the product is described as being "made with luscious milk chocolate, of the highest Belgian quality, filled with crispy rice puffs and enriched with caramel flavour and a touch of sea salt. Ideal for an everyday snack or to share with friends and family."

How can I shop at Costco?
Costco is a chain retail store that sells items in bulk. It also sells its own brand items under the name Kirkland. Costco differs from other stores as you need to be a member to be able to shop there. To be able to shop at the retailer, however, you will need to become a Costco member.
You must be over the age of 18 to become a member at Costco and there are different tiers to its membership programme. Annual subscriptions start at £15 and this is for online shopping only. Everyone is able to sign up for this tier.
If you want to shop in stores - you’ll need to be a current or retired employee of a specific job role which includes banking, finance, medical, civil service or education. You can find the full list of jobs which qualify you on its website here.
Trade is designed for business owners and managers, individual membership is centred around personal use. If you sign up for the Trade Membership, it will cost you £26.40 a year and an Individual membership costs £33.60 a year. The Trade and Individual Executive Member tiers - costing £67.20 and £74.40 respectively - have the same eligibility rules as the previous tiers but they also get to enjoy perks such as rewards, discounts, and coupons.
You can add extra people - living at the same address as you - to your Costco membership and you can do this through your online Costco account.
