It was revealed that Aaron has got himself into big trouble during his time in Italy with the Mafia, as he struggled with his grief and becoming estranged with his mother Chas Dingle over her affair with Al Chapman last year. It was revealed that Moira's son, Adam Barton, had contacted Cain as he was worried about Aaron.
Upon getting home, Dawn demands the truthSpeaking to The Mirror and other press last month, actor Danny Miller revealed "dark" scenes ahead for the character as we learn more about what has gone on over the past 12 months. Aaron will remain in self-destruct mode for a while, with Danny promising "interesting" scenes ahead as he lashes out at those in the village following his permanent return to the soap.
Danny teased of his character: "He has lost the plot entirely. He's very selfish, angry, maybe slightly depressed in a way I guess from everything that's happened. And he's not dealt with the grief very well. So the state of mind is that he's just angry at everybody, and just constantly wanting a fight."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. *Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on , , , , and .
