Kerry Katona slammed grumpy trolls for lacking festive spirit as she defended putting up three Christmas trees in her home.
The 43-year-old took to Instagram to share snaps of the Christmas decorations around her lavish home in Cheshire, and explained why she has put them up early. The former Atomic Kitten star posed next to three themed trees in her luxury mansion, with one decorated in Grinch merchandise, including a huge Grinch poking out of the top and green ribbons and baubles.
“Well, guys, it is officially Christmas at the Katona residence!!!!!! Yes, I know, I know it's early!!!!!!! But I go on tour for panto in December, so I want to make the most of the Christmas spirit with The Rugrats,” Kerry wrote. Fans were blown away by the attention to detail, as the TV star admitted she had enlisted the help of a local company to dress her house ready for the festive season. Next to each tree was a colour-coordinated nutcracker statue, and Kerry was dressed up in a Christmas jumper for the occasion.

Kerry is set to star as Wicked Queen Morgana in the Snow White and the Seven Dwarves pantomime at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, alongside her daughter Lilly Sue McFadden as Snow White. The show runs from 12 to 24 December, and the singer has previously spoken about her love of panto.

I've been dying to get back here, and here we are. Until I did panto, I didn't realise just how hard it is,” she told The Lincolnite last year. “When I got asked to do it for the first time, I honestly thought that was my career over, but I kid you not, you have not worked hard until you've done panto. It's such a hard slog, but it's the most rewarding and most fun you'll ever have.”
Mum-of-five Kerry, who is engaged to Ryan Mahoney, moved house in September last year, but told her followers she was keeping the location of her new mansion a secret after being the victim of a series of burglaries in her old home. “Another house move. As you all know, I had my car stolen and we've not been able to settle,” she wrote in an emotional post on Instagram.
“Now we're moving, but not too far away. I'm not going to say where we're going or where I'm living but we're moving again,” Kerry added. “Three houses in three years and we're going to stay here for a long time, until we go to Spain.”
