While Manchester United claimed a win over Fulham on Saturday, it was far from a convincing performance from the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford was forced to sit out the clash at Craven Cottage after picking up an injury in training on Friday. Earlier in the week, Rashford had been admonished by manager Erik ten Hag for partying after the defeat to Manchester City last week.

And Gary Neville has warned the attacker the decision to go out was a "mistake", with that comment coming as fellow legend Rio Ferdinand slammed Antony after another poor performance. Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Manchester United news.

Neville sends Rashford warning

Gary Neville has warned Marcus Rashford he made a "mistake" by choosing to attend a birthday bash after last weekend's Manchester derby. The former United captain recalled his own rules while at the club about going out in the aftermath of a defeat.

"I've said this openly and publicly, if we lost any match - forget the Manchester derby - we wouldn't be seen for a week, two weeks. If we lost a match a night out would be cancelled. Simple as that. That was my rule, it was the rule in the dressing room: you could not be seen out in a public place if you'd lost a football match," he said on his podcast.

"Erik ten Hag said it was a mistake, I would class it as a mistake as well. Marcus is from Manchester, I know it was his birthday and you've got to live, but it's a Manchester derby and you've just been beaten 3-0. The reality of it is the fans don't want to hear that you're out on the town."

HAVE YOUR SAY! What should be Manchester United's starting line-up against Copenhagen? Comment below.

Andre Onana has hailed United captain Bruno Fernandes for his match-winning display against Fulham. Onana made several crucial saves to seal the win against the Cottagers, but pointed to the midfielder as being the key man.

"Maybe it was important but today the most important thing was the victory," Onana said. "I will speak about the goal from Bruno, he was so important to us and the celebration says everything, so I'm very happy for the victory of today and great goal for Bruno.

"Sometimes you can keep a clean sheet but you don't win the game, you draw. For us today it was important to win, we came here to win, it doesn't matter if we concede a goal but it was important to win."

Ferdinand lays into Antony

Rio Ferdinand has launched a scathing attack on Antony after yet another underwhelming performance for the Brazilian. Antony was booed as he was substituted just after the hour mark, with Ferdinand defending supporters who voiced their frustration.

"You could smell the frustrations let alone hear it," Ferdinand told TNT Sports. "Listen, he's played 11 games this season with zero goals and zero assists, from an attacking player that's not good enough, that's the facts.

"He has to improve dramatically. When (Marcus) Rashford's fit and comes back, which will hopefully be in the next game, it's (Alejandro) Garnacho scratching his head if Antony starts ahead of him."
