Strictly Come Dancing viewers were left in hysterics on Sunday's results show when pro Vito Coppola was left red-faced when he accidentally made a Claudia Winkleman blunder.
During the latest episode, Claudia, 51, spoke to Vito, 31, and his celebrity dance partner Ellie Leach after they topped the leaderboard with their American Smooth to Ain’t That A Kick In The Head by Robbie Williams, scoring an impressive 39 points. Yet chat soon got onto their team name as Claudia asked them the meaning behind "team aubergine", joking she was "nervous" about the answer.
To which Vito replied: "So Tess, okay..." with Ellie, 22, quickly pointing out: "Claudia!" Vito was left red-faced as he comically slid down the sofa with Claudia joking: "Doesn't matter, no, I would prefer [that]... I'll take Tess! No, I love you, carry on Graziano" getting her own back.

Viewers were left in stitches over the blunder as they took to Twitter, now X, to share their thoughts. One person said: "Vito calling Claudia Tess #Strictly" with laughing emojis, another viewer wrote: "Vito calling Claudia, Tess. I am howling! this man is genuinely one of the best things to happen to strictly in recent years. love you vito chaos king #strictly" while a different show watcher added: "Vito is delightful to watch and listen to. He’s so funny and chaotic #Strictly!"

Elsewhere on the show, Adam Thomas became the sixth contestant to be eliminated on Sunday night's results show. During the episode, the former Emmerdale star, 35, found himself in the dreaded dance-off against Angela Rippon. Both couples, who were in the bottom of the leaderboard on Saturday night, performed their routines again.

After both couples had danced a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas unanimously choosing to save Angela and Kai.
