Strictly's Tess gasps 'oh goodness' over Bobby and Dianne's passionate near-kiss

Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell's steamy Argentine Tango sent pulses racing on Saturday night, with host Tess Daly gasping "oh my goodness me" as their routine ended in a passionate near-kiss.

The pair wowed viewers with their intricate and dark performance to AWOLNATION's Sail, which began witrh the EastEnders actor perfecting an incredible lift as he swung pro dancer Dianne over his shoulders. At the end of the dance, Dianne slid over on her knees into Bobby's arms as they embraced, foreheads pressed against one another.

Walking over to host Tess afterwards, she exclaimed: "Oh my goodness me! We've seen a different side to you Bobby! You were in character mode there, weren't you?!"

"I'm still there," he replied, trying to catch his breath. Tess responded: "Still in it! He's still in it, oh my goodness me. It's a modern take on an Argentine Tango." Yet, despite the exhilerating moves, the judges were critical of the dance, though head judge Shirley Ballas praised Bobby for being a strong lead.

Speaking to Claudia Winkleman afterwards, Dianne emphasised: "I could not do what I did out there without this amazing man behind it. He led me every step of the way and I felt so comfortable, so thank you Bobby for allowing me to do that." The pair ended up scoring 30 out of 40, with a disappointing 6 from Craig Revel Horwood.

However, fans flocked to praise the pair on X, formerly Twitter, with one writing: "bobby brazier and dianne buswell, YOU ARE MY WINNERS." While another fumed: "SIX?? bobby & dianne are getting undermarked every single week. #strictly." A third wrote: "Bobby Brazier has some serious moves. He has truly magnetic chemistry with the sexy as hell Dianne Buswell. Dark horse for The Glitterball Trophy? #Strictly." Another commented: "Craig saying Bobby & Dianne’s dance was too ‘aggressive’ the Argentine tango is a fiery passionate dance & that we deffo got so bore off #Strictly."

It comes after the exit spoiler was leaked ahead of tonight's Strictly, with fans left fuming after the "wrong person" left the competition. Every Saturday, the identity of the axed pairings has been leaked online since 2012 – much to the dismay of the Strictly team and judge Anton Du Beke, who last year suggested it is "ruining" the show for fans. Yet this week was no different as the name of the celebrity leaving this weekend was leaked online, which the Mirror has decided not to share.

Following the leaking of the sixth elimination of the series, fans took to social media to express frustration with the outcome, with one fuming: "Wrong person has gone." While another commented: "Waiting for the plot twist...." A third pleaded: "Can someone please tell me this isn't true."
