Have you ever wondered what the lines on your face say about you? Specifically, the lines on your forehead that appear when you frown. You may get annoyed at the fact that there are lines there, but they can tell a lot about your personality, according to Jagran Josh.

Did you know that there's actually a name for trying to work out someone's personality traits via their forehead? It's called metoposcopy. Metoposcopists believe that the forehead is a map of the soul and that the lines and features on a person's forehead can actually reveal many things about that person's true nature.

So, without further ado, what does your forehead say about you? Well, if you've got one forehead line when you scowl, it means that you're "assertive, resolute, tenacious, persistent, and determined." You have a "strong work ethic", and you can really "focus on goals" when you have something in mind. People also see you as "intelligent" and "capable", but there are some downsides to your personality as you can also be seen as "selfish, unromantic, and self-serving." Your ambition can also lead to you being "highly egotistical" and potentially even "over-ambitious."

Because of your personality, you may make "more enemies than friends", but this may be because of putting your own needs before those of others. You may also be "outspoken and blunt." JagranJosh also gave career recommendations for those with a single line, writing: "People with a single vertical forehead-line are well-suited for careers in business, law, politics, medicine, education, engineering, science, technology, etc."

If, when you frown, you have two forehead lines, you may be described by others as "intelligent, thoughtful, and analytical." You're also "hardworking, ambitious, and successful", and you're a "deep thinker" who loves to think deeply about complex problems. Some people, however, may see you as "stressed, anxious, and perfectionistic."

You are also "creative" and have a "knack for coming up with new ideas", always "striving to improve yourself." You are also "loyal and supportive of your friends and family", which is a fantastic trait to have, and you are also able to "empathise with others." However, when it comes to relationships, you may be "ego-centric", or "want to be looked after." People with two forehead lines should look for careers in "acting, theatre, music, art, writing, science, law, engineering, architecture, entrepreneurship, accountancy, etc."

If, when you frown, three forehead lines appear, you may be described as "wise, experienced, and insightful." You're also able to see things from "multiple perspectives", which is a really handy life skill to have. You may also be "highly intelligent, wise, and contemplative", but you may be "critical" of not just yourself, but other people also.

You may also struggle to make decisions as you "over-analyse" things, but you "are often natural leaders and are able to motivate and inspire others" - which is great. You can "achieve great things", and may even become a "celebrity", according to JagranJosh. You may also be suited to careers in "counselling, PR, media, philanthropy, social working, music, acting, healing, doing philosophy, or even becoming a religious leader."
