Celebrity Gogglebox is making its return to our screens with a brand new cast of famous faces including fan-favourites Jeff Brazier and his son Bobby.

Jade Goody and Jeff's son has been rising to fame in recent months, with his EastEnders casting and participation in this year's Strictly Come Dancing alongside professional dancer Dianne Buswell. He also won the Rising Star Award at this year's National Television Awards for his role on EastEnders, leaving his dad in tears as he picked up the gong.

And now, the model-turned-actor is sitting back and relaxing on the Gogglebox sofa with his dad for a special Stand Up to Cancer edition of the show. The father-son duo opened up about the impact cancer had on their family – after Big Brother star Jade Goody died from cervical cancer in 2005 when Bobby was only five and his brother was four.

Jeff, who split with Jade in 2004, explained their decision to take part and said: "Doing Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer is supporting a cause that's incredibly close to our hearts. Cancer affects so many lives, and it's crucial to keep raising awareness and funds for research. Through laughter and shared moments, we hope to inspire others to stand up to cancer with us, knowing that every contribution brings us closer to beating this terrible disease."

Bobby added: "I'm really looking forward to being on Celebrity Gogglebox with my dad. It's for a great cause, I can't wait to just sit down in front of the TV and relax for once. It's been a long time since we've sat in front of the TV and done nothing together." In a teaser clip, Bobby and Jeff got into the Christmas spirit as they sipped on a hot drink and talked about mince pies and the holiday season.

"I had a mince pie the other day as well," Jeff said before Bobby called him out and replied: "You didn't have one mince pie, Dad." Jeff tried to claim he only had two but Bobby laughed and reminded him he had two packets of mince pies. "There were three packets in the cupboard and now there's one."

Jeff smiled and replied: "Speak to your brother." Joining the Gogglebox families, including The Siddiquis, Mary and Giles, and Jenny and Lee, for the Stand Up to Cancer episode are Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans, Harry Hill and Tim Vine and Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade.

Other stars include Jennifer Saunders and her daughter, Beattie Edmondson, Stephen Graham and Hannah Walters and their children Grace and Alfie. The special episode is set to air on Friday, November 3 at 8.30pm on Channel 4.

It has been over a decade since we lost beloved reality TV star Jade, regarded as one of the most legendary housemates in the Big Brother house. Jade, who rose to fame on the third series of Big Brother in 2002, was just 20 years old when she entered the house and finished in fourth place on the series that also included stars such as Alison Hammond, Kate Lawler, and Adele Roberts.

Former lovebirds Jade and Jeff had Bobby and Freddie together but their relationship ended in 2004. Before she passed away in 2009, she wanted to make sure that her children knew how much she loved them even after her death. In a poignant final message, she attached a photo album of her life.

She said, "Dear Bobby and Freddie - I have asked for this book to be made so that when you are older you can remember just how much fun we had. I thank God that we made the most of our time together and I treasure the moments we shared. These are my most precious memories.

"Some person much wiser than me once said that if you never discovered something you would die for, then you haven't lived. Well, you are both proof that I have lived. I will love you always. Mummy."

Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer, watch or stream tonight at 20.30 and 21.30 on Channel 4*
