Emmerdale fans 'work out' Kim and Sam's downfall as Craig's killer confirmed
Emmerdale fans think they have figured out Kim Tate and Sam Dingle's downfall after Thursday's episode.
During the latest episode, Lydia Dingle continued to interrogate her family after her rapist Craig Reed was found dead in a field. This week, in special episodes of betrayal and secrets, the Dingle family take centre stage at a lock-in at the Woolpack as Lydia, who was raped by Craig, questions her family's whereabouts on the night of Craig's death.
Wednesday's episode ended with Sam Dingle wanting to make a confession and Thursday saw the loveable gamekeeper admit that it was he who killed Craig after he beat him up following holding him hostage in an abandoned barn, offering to hand himself in to the police. However, as the Dingles were left reeling over the confession and quickly tried to help Sam come up with an alibi, Cain looked shifty and it was noticed by brother Caleb Milligan, especially as Cain had asked him to lie about his alibi.
Meanwhile, over at Home Farm, where Craig's body was found in the grounds, Kim Tate helped the police with their enquiries as she pointed out that her beloved horse was missing. Later, in a flashback, it was revealed that Kim had stumbled upon a wounded Craig staggering in her field while riding her horse.

Kim was quick to tend to Craig, turning his body over to realise he was semiconscious. It then later saw Kim letting her horse run off into the wild as she insisted she had to do this for protection, explaining her horse being missing earlier in the episode. Yet the twists didn't stop there as at the end of the episode, it was revealed in another flashback that Cain had been on the field when Craig was hit by the horse.

During the scene, Cain stopped Kim from ringing an ambulance as he begged her to walk away, pretending it hadn't happened. The duo then decided to leave Craig's lifeless body in the field without touching it or calling for help, Cain then walked away and Kim rode off on her horse before setting it free into the wild.
However, despite the police not arresting anyone for the murder yet, fans think they have rumbled Kim and Sam's downfall. Viewers pointed out that both Sam and Kim's DNA will be on Craig's body, therefore potentially leading to an arrest.
One person said: "Be plenty of forensic evidence by the crime scene #Emmerdale." Elsewhere, another fan pointed out that Kim should have kept her horse as they could provide her with an alibi, they wrote: "Why get rid of the horse? The DNA in the hooves can clear your names #emmerdale."
