Woman crying over her 'hair fail' but she fixes it with over-the-counter method
Going to a new hairdressers is always a risk - but when you go in with a particular style in mind or an inspiration photo, it can make you feel a little more confident if the stylist has something to go off.
One woman was left horrified when she saw what the hairdresser had done to her hair, and despite giving her photos of what she wanted - the end result couldn't have been further from what she had in mind.
Hoping for a glossy copper colour with framed shorter layers around her face, in reality, she was left with bright orange hair and a short and spiky fringe.
Sharing her ordeal online, the woman, who goes by the name @lunesgravity on TikTok showed what she was hoping for, and then revealed what she was left with after her trip to the hairdressers. She wrote alongside the video: "THE BANGS omg I'm literally crying."
Admitting the colour was pretty but "not what I asked for" she claimed it just "didn't suit her" as she revealed that the stylist said: "This is the best copper I've done" and people were quick to try and reassure her. "It's not bad just fix the bangs and I think it will be ok," one user added, while another commented: "The colour can be fixed but the bangs what the f*** was she thinking."

However, one person compared it to a cartoon and said: "That's not copper that's Brave cartoon orange," and suggested: "Get a dandruff shampoo and wash it a few times it will tone it down. You can use an ultra-light copper."
The TikToker then posted a follow-up video a month later, updating everyone on her hair journey as she had been using a specific haircare gloss product to try and lift the bright colour a little. The product, which can be bought online completely transformed her hair, meaning she didn't need to visit a salon again. She wrote: "It's been over a month but this is what I did with the dphue hair gloss! It turned out so much better but I'm still waiting for the bangs to grow out."
Even though she still has the short fringe, she seems much happier with her hair, that is now a darker red shade rather than bright orange. Giving instructions to her method she added: "I left it on for 25 minutes! The label says to apply on damp hair but I applied on dry hair for more intense results since my hair was LIGHT."
"The colour in person is a little darker than the second photo! I'm happy with the results," she further shared. When asked what colour she opted for, she said: "I used medium brown to get these results! I used the shade copper before it but it did nothing to make it darker which is what I wanted."
