Kanye West and wife Bianca live in very humble apartment after ditching mansion

Kanye West has reportedly ditched the luxurious amenities he lived with during his marriage to Kim Kardashian having downgraded his living conditions.

The rapper moved out of the Calabasas mansion he shared with ex-wife Kim and their four kids - North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm - after the breakdown of the marriage and during their impending divorce. He has since swapped the mega-home for a humble apartment, with no security, no chefs and no nannies.

In an episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim discussed Kanye's living arrangement with her sister Kourtney Kardashian, telling her that her eldest daughter, North West, surprisingly prefers it. She told her sister: "North, she’ll go to her dad’s, she’ll be like, 'Dad is the best. He has it all figured out.'

"'He doesn’t have a nanny. He doesn’t have a chef. He doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.' And she’ll start crying, 'Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment,'" Kim continued, adding that she'd had a rough week with the 10-year-old.

Kourtney reassured Kim that the feeling is shared between her children - Mason, Penelope and Reign - when they visit their father, Scott Disick's home. "They’ll do that at Scott’s too, like, 'Dad has the best house. Your house sucks,'

"'He has the best house, it’s not super-big, the vibe’s better.' I feel like everything falls on the parent that’s like more involved," Kourtney added. Kim then spoke about her Europe football trip with seven-year-old son Saint, which left North feeling "furious" at being left out.

"Nothing was good enough," Kim told her sister. "I took Saint on this trip and he was so excited, but then North was furious and she wouldn’t speak to me because she didn’t get an alone trip. And I’m like, 'You always get alone trips.'"

Kourtney then recommended a dialed-down approach to Kim's days out with her kids, but specifically North, who seems to prefer the simple stuff. She said: "What if you don’t make it so extreme and do like a private dinner with North, or something.

Kourtney gave her sister some advice (Hulu)

"Go on a walk, go on a hike, go to tea. Even if you spend like… I’ll do with Reign like where we’re just sitting and like talking and like have like real focused attention."
