The premiere episode of Love Island Games had fans absolutely excited, but less than halfway into the show fans are complaining.
Love Island Games started out the show with introductions of all the Islanders, with the Islanders meeting each other sprinkled in. Instead of a quick coupling up like the typical Love Island shows, the Islanders all enter the villa in Fiji and get to chat for a little bit. Fans of the franchise were quick to take to social media to complain about the length of the introductions.
"These intros should not be this damn long," One person wrote and attached a photo of someone pulling on their own hair. Another added: "This intro mad long, it’s just not that serious. How long does it take to introduce people we already know??"

Fans seemed to agree on one thing they didn't like about the premiereAfter the intros, the Islanders met host, Maya Jama who has been hosting the UK version of Love Island for the past few seasons. Then before the coupling, the Islanders played a spy-themed challenge which determined the order in which the girls would pick who they would couple up with.

The Islanders were shocked as Maya came back to the villa and gathered the Islanders around the fire pit. She announced a twist that two new all-star bombshells were going to enter, on day one, and kiss the two Islanders they found most attractive. Then the host added a bigger twist - that the current Islanders will be blindfolded.
Two new bombshells entered with a twistEnter the bombshells - UK's Megan Barton Hanson and US's Johnny Middlebrooks. Megan goes first and kisses Callum then Steph, and let the girls they're coupled with (Liberty and Jess respectively) know who she's chosen.
Johnny then kissed Imani and then Cely. Cely and Johnny have a history, as they came in second together during the second season of Love Island USA. They dated for a bit and had a rocky break-up, with the two not speaking since.
Even with their complaints, fans seem to still be glued to their seats for this new variation of Love Island. "These producers is wild for #LoveIslandGames," one person said. Another added: "This season is about to be cutthroat, I just know it. The women are ready to NOT tolerate male stupidity to the love island degree this time around, and I'm so ready. And also, everyone is clearly going for the money and self promo, so again, carnage incoming."
