Gogglebox's stars mortified over 'rejection' from Maya Jama's Halloween party
Gogglebox stars Marcus Luther and Mica Ven were left doing a 'walk of shame' after being denied entry to Maya Jama's Halloween party.
The pair, who quit the show at the end of 2022, had been invited to the Love Island presenter's star-studded bash but faced difficulties getting in. Marcus and Mica, also known as Big Meesh, dressed up as gladiators for the occasion. However, their night out ended up in embarrassment.
Taking to social media, Mica posted a video from their car discussing how they were refused entry. She wrote: "Can you imagine being invited to a fancy-dress party and not getting in because you're late and having to do the walk of shame back to your car? @mayajama Cling Cling."

It's really embarrassing." A frustrated Marcus then said: '"I'm vexed, Oi Maya, man's doing this for you," he said, talking about his costume. "Yeah, let us in," Mica then chimed in.
However, the misunderstanding was soon resolved, and the pair later showed themselves partying inside with Maya, who was dressed up as X-Men superhero Storm. Ahead of her highly anticipated party, Maya gave fans a glimpse of her costume, posting a video with special effects that saw lightning shooting out from her gloved hands.

"Tonight Matthew I'm going to be lighting up the place, " she penned, followed by a laughing emoji. The star-studded bash saw celebs like Amelia Dimoldenberg, Joey Essex, and Love Island's Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde in attendance. Gordon's Pink Gin sponsored the annual do, with guests sipping on Maya's custom Gordon's Pink Cling Cling Halloween cocktail, named after her catchphrase.
There was also a food truck dishing out Maya's favourite fast food - McDonald's. A host of entertainers took to the stage for a circus-themed extravaganza at London hotspot Omeara. However, her beau Stormzy seemed to be missing from the epic celebration. It comes after she was recently spotted arguing with near an alleyway in Los Angeles.
However Maya made sure to show off her fun times on Instagram stories. She was also joined by comedian Munya Chawawa, who came dressed as the eggplant emoji. TOWIE star Joey Essex turned up in a Suicide Squad costume, while Love Island duo Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack channelled Beetlejuice and rapper Sexyy Red known for her hit song, SkeeYee.
Other gorgeous stars attending the special night included Jourdan Dunn, Paloma Faith, Ms Banks and model and TV presenter Leomie Anderson – who went as Doja Cat's Demon character. It's no secret that Maya takes Halloween seriously, with the Londoner throwing an extravagant bash in celebration of the ghoulish event every year. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Maya revealed: "I throw a big Halloween party every year – it’s just a fun time for people to dress up and let their hair down,"
