Celebrity Gogglebox announce famous acting couple have joined show line-up
Channel 4 bosses have announced that actor Stephen Graham, his actress wife Hannah Walters and their two children are the latest celebrity family to join Celebrity Gogglebox.
Bosses of the popular show shared the news on social media with a picture of the 50-year-old star sat with his family on their sofa as they playfully joked in front of the camera. Stephen is probably best known for his gripping role in Line Of Duty and Hollywood hit Pirates Of The Caribbean. But viewers will now be able to see the actor interact with his wife and two teenage children, Grace and Alfie in the upcoming episode.
Actor Stephen Graham and his family set to star in Celebrity Gogglebox (PA)When news emerged, fans could not resist to comment in a bid to express the excitement. One fan said: "Best news ever!!!! Love these!!" Another person said: "Oh wow, this is going to be a riot. Better set my alarm!"
Stephen and Hannah first met during their training at the Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and since then, they also starred in the British drama This Is England, where Stephen played nationalist thug Combo, while Hannah played Trudy. And while their on-screen chemistry was clear for all to see, it seems it then spilled into their real life as they ended up in a relationship - and later married in 2008.
Speaking in 2019 on BBC radio show Desert Island Discs, Stephen explained: "She went to Spain for a little bit and I couldn't see her, and she was going to move out there. She came back and we hadn't been on a date in these five years, six years, just talking lots. And I said 'can I take you on a date?"

The actor said Hannah replied saying: "'What?' And we went to see Saving Private Ryan, had a bite to eat in Greenwich and we were at New Cross train station and I said 'please don't go to Spain'." In response Stephen claimed that Hannah questioned why she shouldn't quit the UK as he then blurted out: "Well, I love you." Apparently Hannah had been waiting five years for Stephen to confess his love for her and the pair wasted no time in accelerating the relationship to the next level as then moved in together the following day. And he said: "We've been together ever since."
Two years ago, Hannah also spoke about their long-lasting love, telling The Mirror: "Twenty-eight years we’ve known each other. I’m going to be honest - the secret is that it’s me fancying my best mate. I want to kill him at times… but I just adore him." But it wasn't just This Is England that the couple have starred in together, they have also been in films such as Pirates Of The Caribbean and Boiling Point, along with BBC One drama Time. And their on-screen chemistry is still as strong as ever.
Director Lewis Arnold, who worked with the couple on Time, said: "They were amazing – they switched it on instantly. Their chemistry is just extraordinary, it's infectious as well for the crew.Everyone just loves working with them and looks forward to them being on set because they're such a joy as a couple… but also as a powerhouse of cinema."
