Big Brother's Zak Srakaew says he almost died after bloody violent dog attack
Big Brother star Zak Srakaew has bravely shared his experiences of two near-death incidents, one of which involved a vicious dog attack.
The 28-year-old model revealed on Johny Selfert's 'Secure The Insecure' podcast that he had a terrifying encounter with a rottweiler as a toddler in Thailand. Zak, who grew up in Manchester revealed that he was once attacked by a dog and was later run over by a car.
He explained that as a child, he was often curious about his neighbour's puppies. In a shocking turn of events, the dog attacked him while he was playing with its puppies. Recalling the horrifying incident, he said: "I actually walked over to this puppy, and I started picking the puppies up, started playing with them. The mother, she was out, I don't know, looking for food, doing whatever.
Big Brother star Zak Srakaew recalled the stories (ITV)"She then came back, she saw me playing with the puppies, boom, she launched herself and grabbed me by the head and started yanking me all over the place, left, right, and centre."
He went on to say: "My mum and all the other people around the village tried to come to split up their dog, and they managed to split the dog up. You know, my mum's grabbed me, she's picked me up. I was covered in blood. My mum said all that time you still weren't even crying, and you just sat there, blood is dripping down your face."

In a rush, his mum took him to the hospital, knowing he needed immediate attention. They were told that the 'operation was going to be too big' and that if he lost any more blood, he might not survive. Zak recalled: "My mum didn't have the money to get the operation done, she did a few cars, and she sold some stuff back at home. The operation cost her pretty much everything she owned, everything she had."
"She then got the operation, stitched me up and that, and, they said, you know, if you would've come a couple of hours later, you probably would've lost him." Amazingly, he survived, ready to face another day. But his luck almost ran out again when he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. He was playing in the street with his toy car when a vehicle came around the corner and sent him flying.
The lad confessed: "It must have been going about 60-70 miles per hour. It's hit me. I've gone into the air. I've come down. My mum said, 'You had cuts on your arms, you had cuts on the side of your face, your blood was dripping'. She said, 'You should literally walk back to your car'.
"I mean, walk back to your toy car and pick it up and come and play with it whilst blood was dripping down you, and you didn't pay attention to the pain you was having."
