Emmerdale was full of explosive scenes on Monday night as Lydia Dingle interrogated her family after her rapist Craig Reed was found dead in a field.
This week, in special episodes of betrayal and secrets, the Dingle family take centre stage at a lock-in at the Woolpack as Lydia, who was raped by Craig, questions her family's whereabouts on the night of Craig's death. On Monday's episode, viewers learnt Sam, Cain and Belle's alibis with all of them insisting they are innocent. Later this week, viewers will hear Charity, Nate, Vinny, Mandy, Caleb, Chas, Marlon and Aaron's alibis.
However, some soap watchers don't think it will be any of the suspects in a twist, sharing their theories on who it could really be from Samson Dingle to Craig's receptionist and even Kim Tate. Here, we take a look at all the theories...
Samson Dingle
Soap watchers have noticed that Samson doesn't appear in the suspect montages or the soap's whodunnit trailer, leaving fans wondering if he is in fact the murderer after a cryptic scene on Friday's episode, where he felt guilty about Lydia previously working for Craig in order to keep him safe.
Viewers will recall that Samson didn't initially believe Lydia when she bravely told her family that Craig had raped her. After finally coming to his senses, Samson tried to help Lydia by showing up at Craig's work, where he was previously employed, as he attempted to get the rapist to confess to the crime. However, Craig wasn't fooled by Samson's plan while Lydia was left furious over Samson interfering.

Some soap watchers think Samson could be responsible (ITV)Taking to social media, viewers think Samson could have killed Craig in a twist. One person said: "It is 100% Samson!! #Emmerdale", a different account put: "My moneys on Samson, the only one it didn't show in the suspect list #emmerdale #whodunit" another viewer said: "Who killed Craig? Probably none of them that was in the Pub. Am thinking it's Samson." while a different fan added: "My money is on Samson #Emmerdale!"

Craig's receptionist
Elsewhere, some fans think it's not actually a Dingle responsible. Viewers will recall that earlier this month, Sam, Lydia and Mandy confronted Craig at his work with the latter's receptionist looking suspicious while when Craig was arrested, she was seen with tears in her eyes.

Kim Tate
Soap watchers will recall that Lydia bravely opened up to Kim before telling her family about Craig. Kim is known for getting revenge and with Craig's body found on the fields of Home Farm, viewers think she could be responsible or her husband Will Taylor. Taking to social media, one person said: "I think Kim Tate killed craig. #emmerdale", a different account put: "I think Kim gets Will to kill Craig as why would his body be found on home farm land?" while another added: "Probably Kim set Will on him. #Emmerdale!"
