Strictly fans fear for show favourite as judges 'undermark' performance

Strictly Come Dancing fans are concerned a show favourite could be facing an early exit after Halloween week.

The Strictly Spooktacular is always a favourite for fans of the Latin and ballroom show as the stars are dressed in the spookiest of costumes for their scary-themed dances. However, some viewers have called out judge Craig Revel Horwood for undermarking one of the stars in comparison to their co-star and fear it could lead to an early exit.

The stars have been dressed in their creepiest costumes to perform their routines tonight including Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk's American Smooth to Magic Moments by Perry Como. Back from the dance-off last week, Love Island star Zara McDermott and her professional partner Graziano di Prima are dancing the Charleston to Jeepers Creepers by Al Donahue and his Orchestra.

Channel 4 newsreader Krishnan Guru-Murthy and his partner Lauren Oakley will do a Viennese Waltz to Kiss from a Rose by Seal whist former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach is performing a Salsa to Murder on the Dance Floor by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Angela Rippon will transform into the iconic Jessica Fletcher, played by the late Angela Lansbury, for a Charleston to the Murder, She Wrote theme song. Layton Williams and his partner Nikita Kuzmin will dance a Tango to Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo.

Dianne Buswell will partner Bobby Brazier for a Cha Cha to Come-On-A-My-House by Della Reese whilst Nigel Harman will be joined by Katya Jones for a Cha Cha to I Was Made For Lovin' You by Kiss Angela Scanlon and her professional dance partner Carlos Gu will do a Paso Doble to Black swan SWAN lake by District 78 whilst, completing the line-up, tennis legend Annabel Croft and her professional dance partner Johannes Radebe will do a Tango to Need U Tonight by INXS.

Taking to Twitter tonight, one fan fumed: "So Craig gives Bobby the same score as Krisnan a 6. What is with Craig's scoring tonight? Bobby's Cha Cha was so much better then Krishnan's dance. #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly," whilst a second added: "Whaaaat Craig? You gave Bobby the same score as Zara? #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing." A third shared: "why do i watch this show?? the judges are so delusional for giving THAT a 9 and bobby a 6 literally SO lost for words #Strictly."

Strictly Come Dancing had one less star performing tonight after Amanda Abbington quit the show earlier in the week. In a statement, she wished her colleagues and co-stars well but insisted she could not continue in the competition.

She wrote: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue. It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside.

"I want to thank the incredible Production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I’ll miss all of them. I’m so sad that I am unable to go any further. Thank you to everyone who voted and who sent wonderful messages and inspiring support. You are all amazing. Truly. Thank you. xxx."
