She joked that she found the incident "challenging" (staceysolomon/Instagram)In the honest video, the mum-of-five thanked the people who offered to help her while she was dealing with her kids. Sitting on the floor in her makeup room, Stacey reflected on what had happened, writing: "ust a little thank you to the nice people in the supermarket just now."
Speaking into the camera, Stacey said: "I had a bit of a challenging supermarket trip. I had to go and pick up my nephew's presents for his party, and I went with all the kids because Joe's not here. Obviously, they were like 'I want a present!' and I was like, 'Er, no, it's not your birthday, sorry!'"

But she said that when she set the boundary with her children, "all hell broke loose." "I was trying to carry my nephew's presents, the bags, the boxes, run after one child, hold another one that was screaming, and about three people offered me help," Stacey recalled.
"I was so grateful – when you're in those situations and you're a bit flustered and a bit embarrassed, it's really nice when people are helpful so I just want to say thank you. Just in case you're watching and you thought 'Did she make it home alive?'" Stacey admitted that she wanted to say yes when the good Samaritans offered her help, but she declined because she was so "embarrassed".
Stacey's husband EastEnders actor Joe Swash recently revealed a parenting tip he uses to make sure the busy brood stays connected where possible. He admitted the couples' blended family of six children, including Joe's son Harry, 16, from a previous relationship, doesn't leave either of them much time to relax. But where possible, they all eat dinner together to try and give them some quality time in their hectic schedules, with one parent at home while the other works.
He said: "We always try and make sure that we all sit down for dinner of an evening with the kids, and find out how each other's days have been. And we try not to work at the weekend and spend it with the kids. So hopefully the kids don't really notice, because there's always one of us there at any given point."
