Amy Slaton and ex Michael Halterman have reportedly settled their divorce

1000-lb Sisters' Amy Slaton and ex-husband Michael Halterman have settled their divorce, according to new reports.

Back in February, it was reported that the couple had parted ways just months after Amy gave birth to their son. At the time it was claimed that the TLC reality star, 35, had moved out of their family home in Kentucky, and had taken their two children, Gage and Glenn, with her.

At the time, it wasn't believed that Amy had filed for the divorce, although she was expected to do so soon after. And now it seems that the couple's divorce has been officially finalised, with them having now been divorced for almost two months.

According to court documents obtained by the U.S. Sun, Amy and her 40-year-old ex finalised their divorce on September 6, 2023. Which came after Michael filed for dissolution of marriage with children against Amy on March 13.

The outlet reports that there was a note with the court documents, which read: "Marital settlement agreement is approved and incorporated by reference as if set forth verbatim and the parties are ordered to obey the terms thereof."

Michael was in fact the first to file for divorce, with him doing so in March, just one month after Amy filed domestic violence claims against him, which have now been dropped. This was then followed by a drawn-out custody battle that has now resulted in the couple sharing a parenting schedule.

The couple are said to have met in high school and had reportedly been in a long-term relationship for several years before getting married. Getting hitched in 2019, the couple then welcomed two children together before their bitter split and custody battle ensued.
