Fans accuse Kourtney Kardashian of 'copying' Kim with brutal Halloween costume
Kourtney Kardashian was the first of the Kardashian clan to share her iconic Halloween costume this year hilariously dressing up as her older sister Kim replicating her iconic Met Gala look in 2013.
The mother-to-be looked stunning as she showed off her first costume of Halloweekend dressing up as her sister wearing the same floral gown she did during her appearance at the Met Gala ten years ago. Kourtney looked breathtaking as she rocked the elegant long-sleeved gown covered in beautiful white, red, and pink roses designed by Riccardo Tisci. In the snaps, Kourtney showed off her baby bump as she posed in front of a white background with the clever caption: "Freaky Friday."
The 44-year-old reality star wore her long brunette locks in a shiny slicked back ponytail calling attention to her gorgeous full-glam makeup look featuring a bright red lipstick. Like her sister, Kourtney is pregnant as Kim also was when she first wore the dress. Kourtney is getting ready to welcome her fourth child and her first with husband Travis Barker any day now. Kim was pregnant with her first child North with her ex-husband Kanye West when she initially wore the red carpet look.

But unfortunately for Kourtney, the joke flew right over the heads of many of her followers as they thought her post was a jab at her sister following their ongoing public feud over her wedding. One fan wrote: "Stole her wedding country. Stole her met gala look. Iconic. Truly." Another added: "She stole your wedding look. You steal her met gala look." And a third commented: "She stole my f*****g met gala dress."

But despite the floral number looking remarkable on both women, Kim was in tears following wearing the dress to the Met Gala after trolls on social media turned the dress into a meme. She told Cosmopolitan: "On the car ride there, I remember Kanye saying, ‘You look so beautiful, I’m so happy for you,'" She continued: "And then I was crying the whole way home because I just couldn’t believe it. There were all these memes about me and this couch, and I think Robin Williams even tweeted it, said I looked like Mrs. Doubtfire. It was this whole thing and I just cried.”
But now, Kim says that she has reclaimed the dress and looks fondly back on the night. She told the news outlet: "Now I love it. I look back and I’m like, ‘Wow, they had the vision. This is sick.’ I just remember the Olsen twins came up to me and loved my outfit and my gloves, so none of the critics mattered because the Olsen twins approved.”
