Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott shared with fans her joy as she finally got her very own backstage dressing room after weeks of having to share with fellow contestant Ellie Leach.
This comes after Amanda Abbington shockingly announced that she had quit the BBC dancing show, citing personal reasons for her abrupt decision. But with just one day until the live show, Zara, 26, took the opportunity to show fans that her name was finally on the door of a dressing room.
Taking to Instagram, Zara who is paired with professional dancer Graziano Di Prima, posted the video to her Instagram and said: "Today is a sad day. It's a bitter sweet day because I've finally got my own dressing room."

So me and Ellie have been sharing, Nikita as well. And now today is the day" Opening the door which had her name on it, fans saw the sprawling room that came complete with a comfy sofa. Zara added: "Oh my gosh I've got my own dressing room!"
But it looked as though despite being over the moon with her own private space, she will be suffering from withdrawal symptoms being away from her close pal and former Coronation Street star. She captioned the video saying: "Not sure how I feel about this...@ellielouiseleach. I may sneak back into your room for girl chats." This news comes on the back of Amanda's shock departure earlier this week as she claimed that she was forced to quit the show due to personal reasons - but her exit sparked concern that she had been feuding with her professional dance partner , as she failed to mention him in a statement.

On Monday this week, it was revealed that she had become "fed up" decided to leave the programme. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared her thoughts with her fans - just hours after news broke that she had quit.
The Selfridges star wrote: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons, I am unable to continue. It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside. I want to thank the incredible Production team and everyone on Strictly who looked after me and who are so kind and caring. It’s a wonderful bunch of people and I'll miss all of them."
She added: "I'm so sad that I am unable to go any further. Thank you to everyone who voted and who sent wonderful messages and inspiring support. You are all amazing. Truly. Thank you." But he decided to break his silence separately as she said: "Amanda .. I am so sad we can’t continue but I am proud of what we achieved and I am sending you so much love @amanda_abbington74 @bbcstrictly."
