Supercomputer predicts Premier League weekend games including Manchester Derby

Manchester City have a 47.7 per cent chance of claiming derby success on Sunday, according to a supercomputer.

The champions make the short journey across the city to take on Manchester United, who are still trying to find some consistency this term. Pep Guardiola saw his team lose this fixture last season but, after two wins in the space of a week, are heavy favourites to claim victory.

United, who've already been beaten twice at home this term, have only been given a 25.6 per cent chance of winning. Premier League pace-setters Tottenham travel to Crystal Palace and are fancied to continue their impressive form with 50.6 per cent chance of winning.

Chelsea's difficult start to the season is tipped to continue when they host Brentford. The Bees have enjoyed success against their west London rivals and have been narrowly predicted to leave Stamford Bridge with all three points - they have a 39.4 per cent chance of winning compared to the Blues, who have 28.3 per cent, according to the geniuses at BetVictor.

Arsenal and Liverpool are the two hottest favourites across the weekend. Both teams have been boosted by wins in Europe during the week and both enjoy home advantage. The Gunners host Sheffield United with Liverpool taking on Nottingham Forest.

Mikel Arteta's side have an 81.7 per cent chance of picking up three points against the Blades, who are yet to enjoy a win this term. Liverpool meanwhile have a 76.4 per cent chance of being victorious come Saturday.

Aston Villa, who are very much keeping pace with the league's top sides, are heavy favourites to see off Luton Town at Villa Park. Unai Emery's side have more than a 70 per cent chance of landing the three points.

Newcastle could yet have Sandro Tonali available despite his ban for gambling offences when they head to Wolves. Eddie Howe's side have recovered from a difficult start and have a 69.4 per cent chance of picking up the win at Molineux.

Brighton and West Ham, playing Fulham and Everton respectively, and both have more than a 50 per cent chance of winning, while the clash between Bournemouth (36.1 per cent) and Burnley (33.4) is the most finely poised game of the weekend.
