E4 MAFS Peggy makes life-changing decision since leaving show after falling ill
Married At First Sight UK star Peggy Rose has revealed she's been forced to 'quit' the normal job she had before finding fame, as the role made her seriously ill.
The reality star is currently taking part in the E4 series and is married to Georges Bert. The two have struggled to form a deeper connection after he told his new bride that he would 'squat on camera' during his time online gaming after taking on ‘embarrassing challenges’ from other players.
Peggy has spent much of the series furious about her partner's confession and has struggled to see past Georges hobby. During a recent group retreat to the countryside, some of the other contestants told Peggy she didn't look happy with Georges.
Peggy's old job was making her ill (E4)After filming for the experiment, the Kent-based star made the huge decision to quit her job as a Technology Risk Partner and move on to something she's more passionate about. She was so stressed from the chaos of her old job she didn't get a period for four years.
Speaking to OK!, she said: "My old job was making me ill. I hadn’t had a period in four years because of stress with my job. It’s hard and you get comments online like, ‘She looks pregnant,’ and I’m like, ‘I would love to be pregnant because I don’t know if I can have children at the moment, you know?’”

She now set up her own business, called Off The Peg, and resells unique clothes. Meanwhile, MAFS fans have been watching Georges and Peggy's marriage unravel because of his online squatting videos. Much to the delight (and disgust) of fans, Georges took to his page and shared the video himself.
She's currently married to Georges on MAFS (E4)During in-law's week, he also explained what he does online to Peggy’s family. He said: “I do online gaming, and in my community the more you watch, you gain points, but I renamed them baguettes. And with those baguettes, the more you watch, the more points you get and you can spend basically whatever I have as a redemption. One of my redemptions is squatting, and I said that I squat online – fully clothed.”
Peggy explained why it made her uncomfortable, revealing: “To me, squatting is an activity one would do if someone is interested in looking at the person’s body. I wouldn’t want my partner doing that out of respect for themselves and me being their partner.”
Viewers were also left cringing when Peggy made an X-rated confession about Georges to her mum and sister on the Channel 4 show. Revealing they hadn’t consummated their marriage yet, Peggy dropped the bombshell Georges was into rimming (orally pleasuring the anus). When her mum interjected: "Rimming?" her sister Holly replied: "I don't think we should explain to mum what rimming is.”
