Francis Ngannou couldn't stop himself giggling as Tyson Fury TICKLED him during their face-off last night.
Heavyweight boxing world champion Fury is a lop-sided favourite to outclass the former UFC champion in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night. The Brit knows victory will secure him a money-spinning undisputed clash with fellow champion Oleksandr Usyk back in the desert two days before Christmas.
And as a flabby Fury faced off with his chiselled rival, he resorted to unorthodox tactics in an effort to unsettle Ngannou who burst out laughing at Fury's efforts. Earlier, there had been no joking around when the Brit vowed to KO his adversary and take his place as the so-called 'Baddest Man on the Planet'.
Tyson Fury tickles Francis Ngannou (YouTube)"I see he's taken advice from me with his clothes, he's looking snazzy," said Fury. "The finest form of flattery is imitation and he has his suit on with no shirt on and I started that. Many will imitate but none will replicate and I'm going to know him out. I've been working to knock him out cold and I've no doubt in my mind that I will knock him out. I've trained for a 12-round war and if it's anything less it's going to be an early night.
"I've been hit by the biggest punchers who have graced this earth and I'm still standing and I'm still No.1. We'll see if Francis has the guts to trade with me. I"m not convinced; I've heard all this talk before. I'm looking forward to a challenge and if it's not a challenge I'll be disappointed.
Jake Paul calls on John Fury to make retirement bet for fight with son Tommy
"He's a big strong guy, he's got a big punch and he's powerful but so am I otherwise I wouldn't be heavyweight world champion. There are levels to the game and he will find out my level on Saturday night."
Ngannou, who has never boxed professionally and who hasn't fought at all for almost two years, will have boxing royalty Mike Tyson in his corner. And Ngannou said: "Four years ago I met Mike Tyson and my only request was that when I fight Tyson Fury, would he be in my corner. People thought I was crazy and that it would never happen. Here we are, the fight is happening and I'm living the dream."
