Dianne Buswell has admitted she had a big concern about working with Bobby Brazier on Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair have been great friends ever since they were partnered up together on the BBC Latin and ballroom show, but she admits there was one thing that really concerned her about the pair working together. She admitted to Janette Manrara this evening that she was initially worried about one thing to do with her EastEnders co-star and feared he was too tall.

It didn't go unseen by fans as they were quick to notice what they thought was a 'problem' with their paring. During this first performance, viewers were concerned about their height difference and if it would impact their dancing.

Speaking on It Takes Two tonight, Dianne confessed that she was initially concerned about their height difference. She said: "I'm so proud of him. I must admit, when I first saw him, I thought oh this might be tough. He's got a lot of limb!

"You're so tall and you've never danced before, so I thought this could be harder than I think. But he's just got such a great little brain on him that he just absorbs everything I tell him." Gushing about the pair getting to work together, she added: "Sometimes I only have to tell him things once and he just locks in; he's so amazing to work with."

Taking to Twitter at the time, fans rushed to defend Bobby for his frame as they felt it was more to do with their height difference rather than anything else. One viewer wrote: "People complaining about his neck as if Dianne is the correct height for him," whilst a second said: "I don't know if it's just me but Bobby feels a little bit too tall for Dianne."

A third agreed, stating: "Dianne looks too short for Bobby," whilst another added: "Is Bobby really tall or is Dianne very short?..." Another viewer mused: "I am so confused that they paired Bobby with Dianne. The height difference is insane."

Bobby admitted to The Mirror that he had started to fancy Dianne after working with her. He confessed to The Mirror at the Pride of Britain Awards: "At the minute my hero is Dainne Buswell, she's like my sister who I kind of fancy a little bit at the same time. She's my coach and my teacher. She's an unbelievable dancer. She's my hero at the minute."
