With a 1.2km main straight providing ample overtaking chances, followed by 17 corners, it’s bound to be an action-packed race from lights out with the safety car periods featuring regularly in recent years - odds on the safety car and virtual safety car being used in this race are priced at 5/4.
Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have shown signs of improvement in the past few races, and new upgrades have increased Hamilton’s confidence on the cars performance with him claiming to be able to ‘throw it into the corners’ which will be essential for the track. Odds on Hamilton to take pole position have been boosted from 10/1 – 11/1.
Hamilton’s teammate George Russell will be looking to improve from his current 8 th position to secure a top 6 finish. bet365 have Russell at 1/5 for top 6.
