Emmerdale set for explosive Christmas twist as Amy and Chloe revenge 'sealed'
Emmerdale will air a "big" twist this Christmas with explosive scenes on the way amid a possible revenge plot, according to one star on the ITV soap.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Matty Barton actor Ash Palmisciano spilled that recent events would lead to a "big" Christmas storyline with plenty of characters involved. It's in the fallout to deadly scenes recently that saw Mackenzie Boyd's life-or-death decision almost kill a character.
While it wasn't his fault and he could only save one person, his decision to let his fiancée and the mother of his son Chloe Harris die over his ex-wife Charity Dingle certainly raised eyebrows. The trio were caught up in a car crash, with the car plummeting off of a cliff with Chloe trapped inside.
This week, fans saw Chloe's sister Amy Wyatt learn the horrifying truth that not only did Mack cheat on Chloe with Charity, but he pretty much left her to die. She's since made it clear she wants Chloe to expose him, and it seems she wants to make him pay.
Speaking to The Mirror ahead of the scenes airing, Matty actor Ash teased a character would be dragged into the big plot, resulting in huge festive scenes later in the year. It seems this person is Amy, with more drama on the way.

Mack's sister Moira Dingle already knows what he did, and it seems she could leave son Matty torn between supporting his uncle Mack and his fiancée Amy when the truth comes spilling out.
Ash told us: "It's gonna impact the village hugely and I'm not just saying this, we have got Christmas on the way and we're starting to film that now. Something happens after the crash you will never expect, a character who is not involved in the plot at the moment gets involved, and so much stuff happens.
"There is some fan favourites involved in this storyline and at Christmas it is gonna be big. There's some really good stuff and some big characters are involved in it.
Emmerdale fans saw the moment Chloe Harris told her sister Amy Wyatt all about Mackenzie Boyd leaving her to die (ITV)"I am really excited for New Year with Amy and Matty as well. Matty's mum Moira is very family orientated. She bullies Matty into sticking by his family, but it's his fiancée so he's stuck with what to do.
"He finds out some information and he's not sure whether to tell his family or stick by his girlfriend so that's been fun to do." For him to consider keeping something from Moira, supposedly linked to Amy, does this mean a revenge plan is in motion?
Viewers certainly think so, with one tweeting: "I'm glad this has come out now and Mack will know he's been a naughty boy - rather than on Christmas Day, what begs to differ now is, what/who will get what's coming to them in Emmerdale this festive season hmmm."
Another agreed: "I think Chloe is just saying this so that no one will suspect that she is plotting her revenge," as a third added: "so can Chloe and Amy come up with a plan to throw Mackenzie over the cliff now please ?" A fourth viewer said: "Determination to fire up Chloe for ultimate revenge plot , definitely not going to stop till chole starts revenge action against Makenzie and charity!!"
