Emmerdale fans think they have figured out who murders Craig Reed amid the upcoming whodunnit storyline, claiming that it's "not a Dingle".
The hit ITV soap is set for "unmissable" episodes next week as evil rapist Craig is found dead, which launches a Dingle whodunnit in explosive scenes. In a special week of betrayal and secrets, the Dingle family take centre stage at a lock-in in the Woolpack as Lydia Dingle questions her family's whereabouts on the night of Craig's death.
Soap watchers will recall that earlier this month, Lydia bravely told husband Sam Dingle and her family that she was raped by Craig at work with the Dingles rallying around her in support. And in the upcoming episodes, through a series of flashbacks, the truth begins to emerge, revealing a tangled web of events leading up to Craig's demise. As the layers of deception are peeled away, the truth will be revealed to the audience in a week where the only certainty is that nothing is as it seems.
Emmerdale fans think they have figured out who murders Craig Reed amid the upcoming whodunnit storyline, claiming that it's "not a Dingle" (ITV)Soap watchers have already been predicting who the murderer could be with several fans thinking it's not actually a Dingle responsible. Viewers will recall that earlier this month, Sam, Lydia and Mandy confronted Craig at his work with the latter's receptionist looking suspicious while when Craig was arrested, she was seen with tears in her eyes. Taking to social media, one person asked "Who killed Craig?" to which another account replied: "I think it's his secretary" with a different fan replying: "Me too x" while another echoed the same thoughts.
It comes as Emmerdale producer, Laura Shaw, said of the explosive storyline: "In an unmissable special week for Emmerdale, we focus on Soaps most loved family, the Dingles, as Lydia attempts to find out who killed Craig. Expertly and innovatively directed by Gary Williams, the infamous Woolpack becomes centre stage for the group of Dingles gathered to reveal their alibis… or no alibi as the case may be!
