Meghan Markle has "burned so many bridges" after stepping back from the Royal Family, it has been claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex, who married into the British Royal Family in May 2018, decided to scale back on her duties as a senior royal alongside her husband Prince Harry in 2020. And since doing so, the couple have started up a life for themselves and their two children in California, America.

Moving on and mingling with the movers and shakers in Hollywood, Meghan even signed to a talent agency earlier this year. Signing to William Morris Endeavor [WME] in April, it was revealed by Variety at the time that the former actress signed with the agency to build business.

And now it has been claimed that the former Suits actress-turned-Duchess has "burned so many bridges", touching on how her new talent agency are working on Meghan's image while the couple's reputation remains in tatters.

A source has told OK! Magazine: "Meghan is signed to WME, Harry isn’t. They are dealing with the couple’s image, but Meghan is their only client."

"There have been discussions had about pushing Meghan forward in her own light, but it’s clear that she’s only got to where she is today because of her association with Harry and the royal family."

They then added that the Royal Family is the reason why Meghan is "so well known", before the source concluded with: "That’s why it came as a big surprise to everyone that she burned so many bridges."

This comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed a lavish trip to the Caribbean following their public appearance in New York City earlier this month. The Prince is said to have wanted to whisk his wife away for some quality time after reports swirled that their marriage was "strained".

A source told Heat Magazine: "He wanted to whisk Meghan away for some couple time, and try to reignite the spark between them." They also then said that "they'd like to avoid couples' therapy, if possible", before noting how the trip was a success and a "healing holiday".
