Boxing champion and Manchester United fan Tyson Fury praised Andre Onana after the goalkeeper's penalty save secured three vital Champions League points for the Red Devils.
The summer signing has copped his fair share of criticism after several error-strewn displays, but produced when it counted on Tuesday night as United picked up their first Champions League win of the season. Copenhagen were awarded a penalty in the 94th minute, but still couldn't find an equaliser.
Onana produced a big save from Jordan Larsson - son of former United man Henrik. Old Trafford rejoiced as did the fans who weren't there, Fury among them. The heavyweight boxer is a life-long supporter of the club and commented on Onana's Instagram to show his love.
The Cameroon international said on social media: "For all Mancunians, for us, for Sir Bobby Charlton. We are UNITED" Fury then replied: "GETTTTTUPPPP" with Onana coming back at him with a salute emoji.
Erik ten Hag has been questioned following his decision to let David de Gea leave the club only to spent almost £50m to land Onana's services. The former Inter Milan keeper excelled in Italy but has struggled in Manchester so far, but showed his value on Tuesday.

His manager said: "He showed personality. He knows that before, given the levels of what his skills are, he didn't match his skills and he could do better. I think on Saturday [against Sheffield United] it was a very good performance and today as well. Don't forget that brilliant save just after half-time in the counter-attack. And also don't forget, one of his skills is he's a very good penalty saver."
Tyson Fury issued a message on Instagram (Andreonana24)Onana has rarely kept clean sheets during his time as a United player but his save from Larsson ensured a rare shut out. "I just had to do my job, you know," he said. "I had to do it for us to win, to win against a very tough opponent, we had a great game. Great goal from the big man, Harry, and I'm very happy, we have to continue like that."
He also added: "Of course [there's resilience]. We are Manchester United, we're a very big club with big players. So it's just a matter of time, now we have to continue like this and we'll get through this."
United are now back in contention to make the knockout stages of the Champions League having lost their two opening games. They are now just one point off Galatasaray who sit in second with three games remaining.
