Emmerdale fans are convinced there could be another death to rock the village ahead of Craig Reed's murder in the upcoming Dingle whodunnit storyline.
Soap watchers will recall it was recently revealed Chloe Harris does remember everything from the dramatic car crash, where Mackenzie Boyd left her to die after saving Charity Dingle from the wreckage. Chloe is pretending she doesn't remember the crash, leaving Mack relieved.
On Friday's episode, Chloe admitted she could remember more from the crash, claiming she remembers screaming out for Mackenzie to help her but then it's a blank. Mackenzie then lied, saying he couldn't reach her in time to which Chloe thanked him for trying to save her anyway, even calling him a "hero".
However, it was soon revealed that Chloe was playing a game as, later in the hospital when left alone with son Reuben, she menacingly said: "We might have to get used to this again, being just the two of us... what with daddy lying every time he opens his mouth because mummy remembers, doesn't she, that daddy chose Charity and just left me to die…"

Taking to social media, one person said: "[We could get] Mack’s death at the end of the year and then the trial for his murder afterwards. #emmerdale", another fan put: "Bet mack and charity get married at Christmas and mack dies on the day #emmerdale", while a different soap watcher added: "I think Mac is gonna die suddenly!"

It comes as Emmerdale is set for "unmissable" episodes next week as evil rapist Craig is found dead, which launches a Dingle whodunnit in explosive scenes. In a special week of betrayal and secrets, the Dingle family take centre stage at a lock-in in the Woolpack as Lydia Dingle questions her family's whereabouts on the night of Craig's death. Soap watchers will recall that earlier this month how Lydia bravely told husband Sam Dingle and her family that she was raped by Craig at work with the Dingles rallying around her in support.
And, in the upcoming episodes through a series of flashbacks, the truth begins to emerge, revealing a tangled web of events leading up to Craig's demise. As the layers of deception are peeled away, the truth will be revealed to the audience in a week where the only certainty is that nothing is as it seems.
