There is no arguing with the fact that Bayern Munich are unbeaten in their last 36 Champions League group-stage matches, but they are still worth taking on in Istanbul.

They are nothing if not combative, are unbeaten since April and for the first time in a long time, blessed with a squad featuring foreign stars like Lucas Torreira, Tete, Wilf Zaha and Mauro Icardi, who look like they can cut it in Europe as well as in Turkey.
Bayern also have stacks of injuries with key midfielder Leon Goretzka the latest addition to the treatment room.
