A new piece of footage from the ruthless October 7 attacks in Israel has emerged showing Hamas gunmen firing indiscriminately at civilians.
In the clip, a militant wielding an AK-47 is seen ordering a car carrying a pair of Israelis to stop their vehicle. But without giving them a chance to comply, the gunman lets off a volley of bullets from just a few feet away. The passengers can be seen cowering in the car.
Government spokesman Eylon Levy released the footage in response to what he called "Holocaust denial-like phenomenon" over recent criticism of Israel and its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. The footage was included as part of a 45-minute long compilation of videos captured on the day of the massacre at the beginning of this month. It was shown to a group of journalists at a Tel Aviv military base this morning.
A video grab showing the moment Hamas gunmen fired into a car full of civilians (IDF)Israel says it will not release the footage for public viewing as they are awaiting approval from the victims' families to do so. However, the journalists who watched it have spoken of the horror of what they witnessed. The video was compiled using material recorded by the Hamas gunmen themselves, on their bodycams and smartphones, as well as footage from the victims' dashcams.
Many of those who attended burst out in tears as they watched the video, according to journalists present. The video contained crystal clear scenes of innocents being tortured, shot and slaughtered. The civilians' lifeless corpses - which were punctuated with bullet and knife wounds - were arranged in a morbid display for the militants to capture in photographs and videos.

In another clip, a group of IDF soldiers were beheaded before the remainder of their bodies were put on display in the streets of Israel.

"The IDF has been collecting footage from bodycams taken by Hamas death squads as they rampaged through the communities in southern Israel, butchering everyone in sight," Levy began.

As we work to defeat the terror organisation we are witnessing a Holocaust denial-like phenomenon evolving in real time as people are casting doubt on the magnitude of the atrocities Hamas committed against our people and in fact recorded in order to glorify this violence."
