There's nothing worse than grabbing one of the last available seats on a train to find out you're sitting next to an inconsiderate passenger. Feet on the seats, rustling a packet of crisps, playing audio out loud or simply taking up too much space, these scenarios may be familiar to frequent commuters.

It's certainly similar to one unfortunate passenger's nightmare journey, who took to social media to share her 'difficult' route, so frustrating she was left with the urge to get revenge. Taking to Reddit in a post titled 'Hold me back sisters', the woman shared how a selfish train passenger spent the whole journey man-spreading across the seats.

The woman hinted that the man took up so much space that it was nearly impossible to sit next to him, a frustrating situation which left her with the impulsive urge to get revenge. In the post, she said: "I am on a packed commuter train, and whilst the seats are not really big enough, a horrible entitled man is man-spreading and making it as difficult as possible for the tiny girl who dared to sit in the middle seat to get comfortable."

After speaking about the annoying seating arrangement she then went on to share her plot for revenge, taking to the site to ask passengers if she could get away with her plan. She said: "I want to flick his bald head as I walk past. Can I do this fellow meno-ragers?"

Unsure if she should retaliate or not the commuter was left with an abundance of support from readers, who commented advice on what they would do in that situation, with many saying they'd make his man-spreading very obvious. As one person said: "Man-spread your elbow right into his head as you walk by. Ooopsie!"

This was closely followed by readers who said they support the 'flick' and that she'd be setting an 'awesome example'. The woman's post also proved a chance for readers to share their own experiences of inconsiderate passengers. One frequent flyer reader took to the comment section and said: "Just to make you all chuckle, I once was flying on a (business) trip and I was overworked and exhausted.

"A very large, very man-spreading man sat next to me in the middle seat. Because I was dead exhausted, I fell asleep. A couple hours into the flight I woke up and to my great horror/embarrassment, my crunched-up body had rebelled and shifted over. I found myself using his shoulder and arm and whatever else was in my space as a pillow. I drooled sleep drool all over that man."
