Strictly Come Dancing fans were left asking the same question after an unexpected moment during last night's live show (Saturday, October 21).
The incredible performance from former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola left both the home and studio audience in awe. After their dramatic Paso Doble routine, they scored a massive 37 points out of a possible 40, including a perfect 10 from judge Motsi Mabuse.
In an Instagram story filmed after scoring, Coronation Street actress Ellie and dance partner Vito couldn't hide their joy at the positive feedback. Vito said: "We are over the moon - and now we need your help please!" Ellie added: "So intense, so dramatic, please vote for us if you loved us!"
Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola caused a stir on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night (BBC/Guy Levy)This will be a relief for fans of the BBC1 show, who were worried about Vito after one particular unexpected moment during scoring. The camera caught their enthusiastic response as the scores rolled in, but during all the excited jumping and hugging, Vito appeared to suffer a minor injury.
He could be seen clutching his mouth in apparent pain after Ellie's hand appeared to accidentally hit his face, leaving concerned host Claudia Winkleman to lean over and ask: "Are you ok?" His response wasn't clear over the loud applause but he gestured to his tooth and said it had happened 'again'. "Sorry, I've injured him again!" Ellie then exclaimed to Claudia, as he offered a not very reassuring "it's fine" before giving the camera a thumbs-up.

With their co-stars in fits of giggles behind them but no further follow-up, viewers were left wondering what happened next. "Think Ellie has just knocked Vito's tooth out," posted one fan on X, formerly Twitter, with a stream of crying laughing emojis.
Another posted: "I need to know, is Vito's tooth okay #Strictly." A third also questioned: "Is #Vito's tooth ok? #Strictly." A fourth echoed: "I need to know if Vito still has teeth what happened there!" "Vito casually losing a tooth" observed another, while one viewer added as the episode ended: "In closing: Thoughts and prayers for Vito's tooth #strictly."
The dancer didn't appear to be in pain in the pair's Instagram video, although he could be seen touching his jaw on several occasions - though it's not clear if that was due to his tooth or if it was just awe at their near-faultless feedback from the judges.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC1 and tonight's episode is already available to watch back on iPlayer. The results show will air on Sunday.
