Strictly Come Dancing stars Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola have fuelled rumours they could be more than just dance partners after sharing a passionate kiss at the end of their routine.
On Saturday night, the 22-year-old Coronation Street star and the 31-year-old Italian dance professional gave a sizzling performance on the long-running BBC dance show. To the sound of an orchestral performance of Insomnia by Faithless, the pair showed off their Paso doble skills as they skipped, dashed and soared across the ballroom floor.
And while the pair ended up landing the second biggest score of the night - gaining 37 points from the judges - fans were convinced the sizzling performance proved the couple were crossing the border from friends to something more romantic. At the end of their performance, Vito took Ellie’s face in his hands and pressed his lips affectionately to her cheek - and viewers were thrilled to see it.

Another wrote: “Woah the ending where he helps her up and I swear they were about to snog before they realised where they were... Go Ellie and Vito #StrictlyComeDancing." A further fan posted: “Ellie & Vito were great! Loved that and Vito giving her a kiss at the end.”

Indeed, many fans were thrilled by the romantic conclusion of the performance. One posted: “The ending to Vito and Ellie's paso gave me goosebumps #strictly." And another wrote: "Ellie and Vito absolutely smashed it this week! There was definitely *something* happening though," alongside a set of eyes emojis.
Predicting a future romance, one fan posted: "Summit will def brew between Ellie & Vito #StrictlyComeDancing the amount of times he kept giving kisses."

Ellie and Vito drew the attention of the judges too on Saturday night - who rewarded them handsomely for their charged performance. Craig Revel Horwood gave the pair a score of 9, while Motsi Mabuse awarded top marks with a 10. Shirley Ballas scored the couple 9 - as did Anton Du Beke. The only couple to score higher on Saturday night were Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin who waltzed off with 39 points after each judge gave them 10s for their Salsa - except Craig who gave them 9.
