Justin Timberlake is reported to have previously said that he would "not be able to fight the urge to write every dirty thing about" Britney Spears in an unearthed interview from 17 years ago.
As Britney prepares to face the world next week when her bombshell memoir comes out, fans have uncovered something that her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake said about her back in 2006. Finding an old profile of Justin that journalist Robert Haskell wrote, Justin spoke of his ex in an unkind way.
Speaking to the journalist, for a publication that is currently unknown, Justin said: "If I [were] writing an article about her, I would not be able to fight the urge to write every dirty thing about." Elsewhere in the same interview, Justin said: "I don't know that person anymore. I'm not sure I knew her before."

Justin's resurfaced comments come after it emerged in the week that Britney will speak about the difficult time she had an abortion in her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me. In extracts of the book seen by People Magazine, Britney writes that her then-boyfriend Justin "wasn't happy" when she told him she was pregnant.
She claims he said they weren't ready to be parents, which led to her ending the pregnancy. In extracts published in the magazine, Britney writes: "But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young."

The Mirror reached out to Justin's representative when the news broke of Britney's abortion.
Also in the book she is said to write: "I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father." She added: "To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."
