Married At First Sight UK star Shona Manderson recently shared she had found love again with the “kindest soul” after being booted off the Channel 4 show.
Now it’s been revealed that person is reportedly her MAFS co-star Matt Pilmoor, one of the new grooms who was originally paired with bride Adrienne Naylor. In scenes aired this week, viewers watched as Matt honeymooned with Adrienne and all seemed to be going well.
But it looks like things don’t work out between the bodybuilder from Harrogate and the project support worker from Cumbria, as Matt has since been pictured enjoying coffee dates with performing arts teacher Shona.
Nottingham-born Shona and her beloved dog Winston were seen in a Starbucks with Matt and onlookers claimed they looked “very relaxed in each other’s company” and “must have been together for a while because they were hardly dressed to impress”.
Shona was married to Brad on the show but they were asked to leave over his 'toxic' behaviour (Channel 4)A source told The Sun: “I’m a big fan of the show so I couldn’t believe it when they strolled in together because Matt’s only just joined the show. I’m really disappointed I saw them to be honest because there’s still a month or so to go – and now I know his marriage to Adrienne won’t last.” The Mirror has reached out to Shona and Matt for further comment on this story.

It comes after Shona was axed from the show over her ‘toxic’ relationship with 27-year-old Grimsby model Bradley Skelly. While the couple started off strong and almost immediately declared their love for each other, things quickly turned sour.
Viewers watched as Shona broke down in tears after discovering Brad had revealed intimate details about their sex life to their fellow contestants and branded her “emotionally immature” because she had a dog, while he was a father to an eight-year-old son.
He was also pulled up by the show’s dating experts for the language he used towards his wife, which included ‘allowing’ Shona to do things – saying at one point: “If I allow her to get angry, is she ever going to learn?”
But things really hit the fan when Brad told his new wife to repeatedly shut up during a dinner party in front of other cast members, prompting experts Paul, Mel and Charlene to intervene.
Shona later told fans she was so "infatuated" with Brad at the time she couldn’t see what was happening before her eyes. It is only now when she watches the "uncomfortable" scenes back that she realises how vulnerable she was.
Speaking afterwards, she revealed she had learned 'huge lessons' from the show and since fallen in love for real. In a post on Instagram she said: "I realised deep down I needed to love myself more. I did just that, I filled myself up with self love and when I was ready fate kicked in and I met the kindest soul who loves me just the way I am and it’s what I deserve. "
In another clue her new man is co-star Matt, Shona has been spotted liking some of his social media posts as far back as July, as the latest Married At First Sight series was filmed months ago.
