Gogglebox family favourites the Malone clan have been left devastated after the death of their beloved dog Dave.
The family's adorable rottweiler became a well-loved member of the Malone family, and was known to millions of viewers as he often appeared on the Channel 4 hit show, tucked up on the famous sofa beside his owners.
On Wednesday, the matriarch of the Malone family, Julie, took to instagram to announce the sad news. Julie shared a heartwarming video and added: "RIP Dave xxx There are no words to describe you ,or how much you meant to us. This was you on Sunday waiting for your Dad to come back and he had only gone out to the car x We are all going to miss you so much."
Dave the dog has sadly passed awayAfter sharing the sad news on Instagram, fans shared their sympathy with the Gogglebox family, with the post garnering ten thousand likes in less than ten minutes. "This has absolutely ruined my day. I'm so so sad to hear about Dave. Sending you all the love in the world," one kind fan commented after hearing the sad news.
"Noooooo not Dave!!!!! He was the best on Gogglebox. Heartbroken is an understatement," another fan echoed. Someone else added: "Dave! He gave us all a laugh and he was a beautiful doggie. So very sad for your family."

While someone else gushed: "You were lucky to have such a beautiful pet like Dave, just remember the good times. He wasn't just loved by your family, he was loved by the entire nation. On Gogglebox, Dave regularly left viewers in hysterics with his energetic and wholesome antics. The beloved rottweiler famously left Gogglebox viewers crying with laughter when he knocked moody dad Tom off his chair in a burst of energy - with the clip later going viral on TikTok.
As well as appearing on the show on Friday nights alongside his family, Dave also regularly featured on the family's Instagram account in hilarious videos and was clearly so loved by each and every member of the Malone clan.
