The Prince and Princess of Wales are often described as the Royal Family's secret weapon thanks to their star power but how much do YOU really know about the royal couple?

The couple marked 12 years of wedded bliss back in April and have welcomed three children into their family, with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis often stealing the limelight at royal occasions and making non-stop headlines.

The first in line to the throne was studying at the University of St. Andrews when he met Kate, and according to William the attraction was instant. He previously said: “When I first met Kate I knew there was something very special about her."

But, like any couple, their relationship hasn’t been without its rocky patches, and the duo shocked the world by announcing their break-up in 2007. Rumours were circulating at the time that the pair were in different places, with William wanting to make the most of his youth, while Kate was ready to settle down.

Eventually, they found their way back together and went on a lavish holiday to the Seychelles, where they apparently made a secret pact to get married. Since tying the knot, they have taken on royal duties in support of King Charles, through engagements at home and overseas, alongside a portfolio of charitable work and patronages.
