Justin Timberlake 'concerned' about ex Britney Spears' explosive memoir

Justin Timberlake is "curious" about the contents of Britney Spears' new memoir, The Woman In Me, according to a source.

The 41-year-old Princess of Pop is releasing her bombshell book later this month and it's believed she's written about her romance with the 42-year-old singer. Britney and Justin started dating in 1998 but split four years later amid reports of Britney's alleged infidelity.

Sources have claimed the Toxic hitmaker goes after Justin "hard" in her memoir. Now, another source has said: "He's very curious what she'll reveal from their relationship. It's eating at him."

However, speaking to Page Six, the source insisted Britney doesn't attack Justin in her book. They said: "This is Britney finally getting a chance to tell her empowering story and it's nothing more than that."

The release of Britney's memoir was said to have been delayed following concern about possible litigation from Justin and Colin Farrell. The Woman In Me reportedly includes claims about her relationships with each men. An insider said Britney was told to remove the statements or be pursued by lawyers.

The insider told The Sun: "Lawyers demanded to see her book in advance and were adamant that some of the revelations were removed. There are still plenty of gobsmacking tales but Timberlake and Farrell were conscious about what could be said about them."

After much back and forth, the parties have agreed on what can and can't be included. Britney's memoir will explore her relationship with her family and will provide a look at her 13-year conservatorship which gave her father, Jamie Spears, control over his daughter's life.

Britney and Justin met in 1993 while they were starring in The All-New Mickey Mouse Club, but didn't start dating until 1998. However, things weren't meant to be and they split in 2002.

Justin went on to release his 2002 song, Cry Me a River, the second track from his debut album. Reports suggested the song was about Britney's alleged infidelity. It's claimed that shortly after their split, Britney and dancer Wade Thompson decided to make a go of their relationship after hooking up behind Justin's back. Britney and Wade called things a day after a year.
